For those that have visited this restaurant, I can not tell
you any more that you don't already know -
the salad is delicious and the food is very good.
I tried the fettuccine with shrimp, sea
scallops, tomatoes, mushrooms and scallions. Served in a creamy garlic wine
sauce $14.25. Great taste and I had
plenty left for lunch the following day.
My other family member enjoyed the Pasta Arabiata, which is a
spicy marinara sauce with chopped chicken, sausage, red & green
peppers, onions & Italian seasonings over pasta,
$10.95. Also received a tastes good
response.
Jimmy D'Angelo,
the owner was very pleasant, gave that small family feel to the restaurant.
D'Angelo's in Twinsburg, also serves the same wonderful salad and
dishes.

Okay, can I say probably the best Corn Chowder I have had in a long time. Had chucks of potatoes and just plain good.
I ordered the Reuben and enjoyed it also, Waiter said that everyone says it is the best corn beef around and probably so. (Except for those of us who have had Slymans downtown Cleveland.)
The charm of this little bar/cafe makes up for the small difference in the corn beef. An enjoyable dinner. I had a regular Reuben $10.99, bowl of soup $3.95 and fries were extra.

We visited this
establishment about 3 weeks ago. Burgers were
delicious and fries were outstanding. They are
known for the Chili, but we did not partake.
Service was a little slow and our waitress kept
pushing her hair back. Not something I like to see
dangling in my food.
Other than that, everyone needs to try Whitey's at some point and maybe
the owners will read this and get their servers to
use better hair pins.
